Fresh off The New York Times newswire: It appears that Congress is applauding the 1990 sci-fi classic “Total Recall,” starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sharon Stone. It’s weird that they are recognizing the film a full 20 years after its release. Come to think of it, it’s weird that Congress is recognizing any film. Don’t they have more important things they can be doing?! For what it’s worth, it is a great movie. I just think the economy should be their priority right now.

UPDATED: We made an error in our earlier post. It appears that lawmakers were applauding the “Toyota Recall.” That actually does make a lot more sense. Sorry for the mix-up.
